i saw this at the health care expo at sm megatrade hall last wednesday. can you believe that there’s this product? what do you need artificial tears for? you can cry naman if you’re sad or happy diba? what a weird product.

I have that. The product is for people who use contact lenses. It works for dry places like Phoenix where there is very little humidity to keep your eyes moist.

Artificial tears is not literally means tears perse. It is use for people who has dry eyes infection and conjuctivitis. there’s this eye infection that dries your eyes, i think that it blocks the ducts in our eyes that produces tears that moisturizes and lubricates the eye ball or cornea without it you will feel that your eye always gets irritated as in dry eyes. i had it once and it bothers me a lot.

Dry eye syndrome is a chronic lack of sufficient lubrication and moisture in the eye. Its consequences range from subtle but constant irritation to ocular inflammation of the anterior (front) tissues of the eye.
